Mina Blue competed on The Voice France and left a mark on everyone who watched. Her voice has a quality that is difficult to categorize, warm and technically precise simultaneously, with an emotional directness that makes the songs land before you have time to think about them.

Her first solo concert in Paris after The Voice was at Tango Paris, a small historic venue in the 3rd arrondissement. The room holds a few hundred people. Mina organized and promoted the event herself, which is worth noting because the independence of that choice says something about the kind of artist she is.

I went with my friend Seb. We had followed her journey on the show and were genuinely curious about what she would do in a room that belonged entirely to her.

The set mixed original tracks from her album Sistakes with covers that she made clearly her own rather than imitative. Her stage presence was unforced and honest. She spoke to the crowd between songs with the directness of someone who is not performing vulnerability but actually sharing it.

The crowd in the room that night was the kind of audience that forms around artists who connect rather than project. Small, attentive, deeply invested in what was happening on stage. The energy between the performer and that specific room was something you cannot manufacture in a larger venue.

I rated the concert 8 out of 10. The rating is honest but insufficient. What happened at Tango Paris that night was something more than a score captures. It was the beginning of a career watched from close range.
